Thank you for choosing to stay at The Pax.

The Pax is a place of peace, rest and renewal. These House Rules are here to help create a respectful and enjoyable experience for everyone who stays with us.

By staying at The Pax, you agree to follow these House Rules throughout your visit.

Respect the Sanctuary

We kindly ask all guests to treat The Pax, its surroundings and its facilities with care and respect.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: From 3:00 PM. Check-out: By 11:00 AM.

The Pax operates self check-in. Arrival and access instructions are sent to you before your stay.

Length of Stay

Stays are a minimum of 2 nights and a maximum of 7 nights.

Maximum Occupancy

The maximum occupancy is 4 guests.

Only the guests included in your booking may stay at the property unless agreed with us in advance.

A Peaceful Environment

The Pax is intended to be a place of rest and relaxation.

To help preserve this atmosphere, we kindly ask that guests:

• Respect our neighbours and the surrounding community.
• Observe quiet hours between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM, keeping noise to a minimum both inside and outside the property.
• Do not host parties, celebrations or events.

We operate outside quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.

Pets

Pets are not permitted.

Looking After the Facilities

If your stay includes access to the sauna, hot tub or other facilities, please follow the guidance provided.

• Use all facilities responsibly.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Please shower before using the sauna and sit on provided sauna towels.
• Please shower before hot tub use.
• If anything appears damaged or unsafe, please let us know immediately.

Caring for the Property

Please:

• Report any accidental damage or maintenance issues as soon as possible.
• Take reasonable care of the accommodation and its contents throughout your stay.

Guests may be charged for damage resulting from negligence or misuse.

The Rural Setting

The Pax is located in the Somerset countryside.

Please be mindful that rural environments naturally include uneven ground, wildlife, insects and changing weather conditions. We encourage guests to take appropriate care while enjoying the gardens and outdoor spaces.

Before You Leave

Before checking out, we kindly ask that you:

• Dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided.
• Wash and put away any used dishes.
• Close and lock all windows and doors.
• Turn off lights and electrical appliances where appropriate.
• Return the keys as instructed.
• Leave the accommodation in a reasonably tidy condition.

Our housekeeping team will take care of the cleaning.
